prior to working as a freelance artist & film-maker, I managed learning and community engagement programmes in museums and galleries across the west midlands. i now work with communities as an artist leading workshops and activities for all ages and abilities.
walk and draw at The New Art Gallery Walsall
every month I lead ‘walk and draw’ at the new art gallery walsall.
participants produce a number of quick drawings, whilst exploring walsall on foot, and draw in different styles, using different techniques, approaches and materials.

arts for health at Midlands NHS Partnership Trust
every week on monday afternoons, i facilitate creative arts activities with inpatients on the chebsey ward at st george’s hospital in stafford.
presently I am delivering a 6-week drawing for well-being series of workshops on the them of landscapes.
Outside In
i regularly deliver adult courses for artists who face barriers to the mainstream art world, (both in-person and online) for the national arts charity Outside In. courses include, ‘exploring collections’, ‘leading workshops’ and ‘the art of curation’.
family arts at Pat Collins Fun Fairs
throughout the summer each year i devise and deliver free arts activities for families on site at Pat Collins Fun Fairs Ltd, a legendary family-led fun fair based in walsall, which tours the UK.

Let’s Create Art 2022 - The Good Shepherd
in october 2022 i received a grant from engage to deliver free family arts activities at the Good Shepherd, in Wolverhampton, as part of the #letscreateart2022 programme. i delivered an arts activity in the community kitchen where families created a textile banner.

woodland wonders collage
woodland wonders - cannock chase cep
i supported a wonderful project entitled ‘woodland wonders’ in june 2022 for the Birmingham commonwealth games.
i worked with primary schools in cannock, rugeley & hednesford to create cut paper abstract collage ’ which were then transformed into art works which were later displayed in cannock chase forest.
